Customizing Dial Plan for 2 Clients for IPKall/SipGate number respectively #123

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
I want to create/find a dialplan that will allow me to route calls from IPKall
number to client number one and calls from SipGate number to client number two.
The two clients are regular telephones connected to the two ports on my
Linksys PAP2-NA, which are both able to log into sipsorcery. Any links to
point me in the right direction will be great.
Thanks.

Thanks for opening a ticket. It sounds like you're going to need an inbound
dialplan. In addition, since our scripts use SIP Sorcery's ability to "fake" an
outbound call, some special handling is going to need to happen in order to
know which phone to use for the second half of the outbound call. Have you
posted this to the SIP Sorcery forum? Or did Mike send you here?

In fact, you can do without the "In" dial plan. You need to create a new SIP
account (go to Sipsorcery / SIP accounts); name it, for example, myipkall (the
name must be unique within sipsorcery.com domain, can take several attempts
before you find available name).

Make Sipsorcery register to Sipgate. You'll find "Register contact" under SIP
provider settings for Sipgate; this contact points to your "main" Sipsorcery
account. Thus, you need to register "Sipgate" channel of your ATA to your main
Sipsorcery account.

IPKall ATA should register to myipkall@sipsorcery.com; configure IPKall to
forward incoming calls to this address.

Leave the "In Dial Plan" field blank for both SIP accounts and Sipsorcery will
automatically forward incoming calls to bound ATAs.

Thanks for the response. I'll google for sipsorcery and Inbound dialplan. I
don't know Mike. I will post this in the SIP Sorcery forum and see what comes
up. Please keep this open a little while longer incase someone else has some
more to add and if I find out how to do this, I'll post a response here as well.

Just configure your accounts and ATA as above, should work right away. I'll
keep the ticket open.
