Complex Dialplan installation instructions too cryptic #61

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Attempt to install the complex dialplan and set it up for Sipgate.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A clear set of steps that explains how to install the dialplan into SIP
Sorcery. I was expecting how your are supposed to set it up for just a Sipgate
(but not a Gizmo5) number. Instead, it simply says it "needs to be configured".
Perhaps an explanation of how it needs to be configured?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Complex dialplan

Probably you'll feel more comfortable installing this:

@dasmart1 - I apologize for the unclear instructions. You only need to
configure services you plan to use with the Complex Dialplan. If you're only
using Sipgate then only configure the sipgate details. The script checks to see
if you configured G5 and will only attempt to use it if its been setup.

S'ok, I just used the CNAM-enabled dialplan, which was much more
straightforward.
