Hi Lisa, the only thing I can think of is that you never finished the setup
process on the copy of X-Lite that is burning minutes. If you recall, there's a
step in the process where I encourage people to hook up X-Lite directly to
sipgate solely for the purpose of verifying the sipgate line with Google Voice.
You only need to do that once, however, when first signing up for sipgate. You
don't need to repeat that process for each device or software client that you
attach to SIP Sorcery.
So my guess is that your X-Lite 4 is configured with your sipgate credentials
while you completed the setup for your copy of X-Lite 3 and have since deleted
the sipgate credentials and replaced them with your SIP Sorcery credentials.

Ok I will test that out I swear I transfered the exact same credentials to 3
that I had in 4 for my test,
I just switched to 3 to test my theory and 3 worked so I will have another go
and see.
I am using another type plan on 3 as a backup in case there is/was any troubles
with the sipgate/sipsorcery setup on 4 and vis versa.
I will let you know the outcome.
Thanks Lisa

Hi
Just an update, I uninstalled X-Lite4 beta my machine did not agree with it.
I'm using Sipsorcery/Sipgate with NCH Express Talk and it seems to be working
with out deducting the minutes from my Sipgate account,
although on an odd note
Express Talk has 11 checked spots on my Firewall exceptions which 10 of them
are the same Express Talk RTP incoming audio (UDP) and one SIP incoming calls
(UDP)
maybe its just a glitch I will uncheck the odd ones.
Thanks Lisa

Unless a specific client tunnels the audio, all SIP clients should use the same
firewall ports. Now I use TCP for audio so I don't have any ports specifically
opened on my firewall. It sounds like you're on your way so I'm going to close
this for now. You may continue to post here if you need more assistance.
