Thanks! Seems like I was wrong in the issue you've linked, this could also be a line of sight issue between the Warrior and the totem (to actually confirm).

https://clips.twitch.tv/TastyIncredulousSharkM4xHeh yes , this looks like line of sight problem

https://imgur.com/5XocAkq 0.3 sec buff from totem already was applied - but not for warior https://clips.twitch.tv/GoldenSpookyGrassDendiFace

This issue fucked shamans so much =/ , cos cant do more assist then just groudning on big range

My 2 cents: It's not LoS issue or GT working improperly, it's the Cyclone. Since you can probably think of totems like of auras, when you cyclone a target you lose for example Soul Link or Blessing of Sacrifice, the same way you lose Grounding Totem buff. What makes this critical is the fact that not-retarded druid will land the cyclone-following spell so exactly the cycloned target won't be able to regain the GT buff fast enough. That's because GT buff is not present at all on cycloned targets, which is kinda debatable as well since druids have no easy way to destroy that if you preland GT and they need to deal with it after the clone that means they cant chain after the clone. But the last sentence would only work if there was absolutely no delay on the GT reapplication post clone.

So easy and in my opinion fair fix to this is make GT buff present even on cycloned targets, that way druid can destroy it during the clone if it's applied too soon or the GT just catches it properly at the end and warrior doesn't have to sit following cc everytime.

This was an issue also while playing ret sham where you set like starfire after the clone, you put GT, but the GT can't eat the starfire due to the delay so you take hits for no reason.

Applying GT through Cyclone seems like a good idea. There is currently definitely a line of sight restriction, requiring the player to be in line of sight with the totem in order for the effect to work. From my local tests it seems to be only a line of sight restriction preventing it from working, maybe my timing was not tight enough but the Grounding Totem buff would get applied on the Cycloned player right after Cyclone expired and consumed the next incoming spell - not a real scenario, though.
