Negative stat mods shown incorrectly in character pane #1

Negative modifiers like Vindication work, and show the resulting stat in the character pane, but it shows the stat as absolute instead of modified negatively by a debuff. I.e. the stat does not appear red with a red modifier when you hover it.

This was hack-fixed when found with armor debuffs. But now that it's been shown to be a more general error, the hack should be replaced by a proper fix.

In fact there is one more bug: after negative effect are fading out the stat values are decreased by 1 in some (may be all) cases.
