Yeah - They probably are. Should we nuke the status-inprogress? I think the project board is auto-adding the latter for us.
I'm going to do it, although with project boards now I'm not sure if any labels are that important.
There's probably a github bot out there that would clean this up, syncing labels to projects. I have no idea.
Cool! BTW there is an active bot or script that adds thein progress
label to new Pull Requests in this repo. If in progress
was nuked to resolve this Issue, the script just recreated in progress
with the latest Pull Request (and will with subsuquent future PRs). I agree the labels are not as important now, but for consistency sake maybe we can see if that script can use status-in progress
instead of in progress
? /cc @DanPallas
I noticed on GitHub that we have two labels that essentially say the same thing
in progress
andstatus-in progress
Are these being used as the same thing or are they used differently from each other?
Sometimes
in progress
I noticed will get added automatically to some PRs and Issues. Is this something GitHub does by default?I was considering merging them manually by converting from one to the other on all Issue for the sake of meta data consistency but I didn't want to mess up anyone's work flow if they're used for different purposes.
