new connection issue

[GoogleCodeExporter]

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. click create a new connection
2. enter an invalid field
3. click ok on error message
4. click new connection again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

actual:fields are repopulated with previous information except for database
type
expected:all previous data is repopulated

this is the expected output as if they make a mistake typing in the info, the 
rest of
the fields are still there for you to fix/submit

Richard,  I think james is saying that the database type isn't be 
auto-reselected?
