-TFC uses, i think, it's own rules for terrain generation; -TFC uses different variables to determine local rock type and wood type; -TFC has it's own plants and bookshelves.

Nope, seems like something that'd almost double the work for Formations. For one mod, I think that's probably not worth the effort.
