Bayeux upgrade crashes on Linux #49

Closed cherylepatrick closed 6 years ago

Please follow the general troubleshooting steps first:

This time on Linux (SL6, UCL machines): I tried to upgrade Bayeux (3.1.2 to 3.3) and the upgrade crashes. Gist-log is at https://gist.github.com/cherylepatrick/71af996da9dd7c0d6d61e28bc7ae4651

Would be OK with just rolling back Bayeux to what it was before (3.1.2) but not sure how to do that.

I did a brew switch bayeux 3.1.2_2 but I can't run any of the Falaise stuff (flsimulate etc). Error is not the same as, but looks like it might be related to, the error I get on the mac in issue #48.

flsimulate: error while loading shared libraries: libicudata.so.61: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Ha! brew switch icu4c 61.1 seems to get it running again! I think the underlying issue is still there but at least we can run SOMETHING.
