Feedback for User-defined fields explained #1258

There a change when it comes to index fields, see US 49657 "You can check and uncheck the [ ] Indexed checkbox, and Publish. You will see indexes being created and removed in the database. Data is no longer moved from one field to another, and the running time is almost independent on the size of the table (number of rows). You can now have any number of indexed fields, not just a maximum of 4 as before."

Introduced in version 10.3.1, made to speed up publish of udef fields. Earlier we moved data to one of the indexed fields if this checkbox was ticket. Now we just make the field indexed if the tickbox is ticked in admin.
