We currently link out of docs to FAQ pages. This signals that the info on docs is incomplete, reduces engagement, and can be detrimental to the overall UX.

Embedding this information on docs can improve the user experience, give you more control over presentation and customization, increase visibility, and reduce the risk of broken links.

Improved UX

Embedding information on your site can improve the user experience by reducing the number of clicks required to access information. Users can access the information they need without leaving your site, which can increase engagement and reduce the likelihood of them leaving your site to find answers elsewhere.

Branding and Marketing Opportunities

Embedding information on your site provides branding and marketing opportunities by keeping users on your site and exposing them to your brand and messaging. By embedding information on your site, you can create a more immersive user experience and promote your brand and offerings.

Control and customization

Embedding information on your site gives you more control over how the information is presented and allows you to customize the design and formatting to match your site's look and feel. This can help improve the overall user experience and make your site more cohesive and professional.

Increased visibility

Embedding information on your site can increase the visibility of your content and improve your site's search engine optimization (SEO). When you embed information on your site, search engines can crawl and index that content, which can help increase your site's relevance and visibility in search results.

Reduced risk of broken links

Linking to external sites, such as a FAQ, increases the risk of broken links if the linked content is moved or deleted. Embedding information on your site reduces this risk by keeping the content on your site.
