Serial binding #6

Just noticed your plugin here. Realy great! Connecting my Vallox ValloPlus 500-SE to my OpenHAB system was one of my next steps to go for my personal home automation. Already bought a serial to USB interface and got the interface documentation. So far a was thinking about doing the low level stuff using an ESP8266 connecting back to my raspberry running OpenHAB2 using MQTT. I will have to get a closer lock at your code first, but as far as I see you already have done all the dirty work of binding the Vallox RS432 protocoll - so it probably shouldn't be all that difficult to get a direct serial connection up and running.

I'm also intrested having direct serial connection and ready for future testing. I have a USB-RS485 converter and my Vallox 110 SE is connected to RPi3 with it. Now i use ser2net to share the serial connection to my local network for testing purposes. Running openHAB2 on the same raspberry pi and Eclipse IDE running on my main computer.

In the meantime I would like to fork/add some descriptions.

Please note that this repository is discontinued! All development is moved to https://github.com/openhab/openhab2-addons and there at addons/binding/org.openhab.binding.vallox.

So this standalone repository is discontinued. At the moment I'm in the process of get the first version of the binding officially added to the openhab-addons. I have the first pull request here https://github.com/openhab/openhab2-addons/pull/1560

For the time being, you can obtain the bundle from the pull request from the Eclipse IOT Market Place https://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/vallox-central-venting-unit-binding
