Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Failed to update a ServiceWorker: Not found

Hello,

I'm getting this error in Chrome, I don't know what to do about it. Could be related to the fact that some images are hosted on a cloud platform and origin is not allowed, but honestly, I don't know. Do you know how I can fix this ? Thank!

Can you please clear the browsing data upon your browser and check the console again. I cannot notice any error related to service worker now.

That's confusing, because I still get errors in Chrome and running lighthouse tells me it's not registering a service.worker

Can you please confirm the browser, OS and page at which you noticed the error. Also have you cleared the browsing data and relaunch the browser before checking the console?

Yes, absolutely. I also tried on an other desktop with same (in promise) Typeerror: Failed to update a ServiceWorker: Not Found

Tested on:

MacBook pro High Sierra Chrome + FireFox MacBook pro High Sierra Chrome MacBook pro High Sierra Safari gives e different error message

Like the service worker did not register

I have. It seems to be cached at some other level which explains why I see the error on multiple devices/browsers I'm digging into the server settings and cache pllugins settings

If you just call https://www.mal-au-dos.be/superpwa-sw.js?a=1, the values are correct

Yes! Most probably it may due to any caching settings. Can you clear the cache of WP Rocket plugin and on Cloudflare ?

I'm trying to clear cache & disable https://www.mal-au-dos.be/superpwa-sw.js from both wp-rocket & clouflare Also reduced browser caching for js files in .htaccess to 1 second Nothing's working, this is driving me nuts ;-)

It was that, but I just tried again& I get a 100 score and the error msg has gone!
