Enabling cheats in perfect dark causing mupen to not load #334

Describe your system:
 - Kubuntu 9.10
 - 32bits
 - 1.99.2 (svn updated 1 minute ago)
 - Plugins used: default ones

I can load the game Perfect Dark by typing it after the program (i.e. all
the default plugins are used) It works despite some errors but that's not
the problem. I try and load it with the cheats command. First I tried all
cheats, then I tried just the first one which is all weapons. In both
cases mupen starts with the black windowed screen, the writing Mupen64plus
started is there. But it doesn't progress at all. The console seems to
indicate nothing. It just get's up to Core: Starting R4300 emulator:
Cached Interpreter..... then nothing further.

When using a Gameshark you'd have to use a keycode (I think the Zelda one) to
get
Perfect Dark to work. You'd also need a lo res or hi res code which I think
allowed
you to use the cheats you enabled. This was because Rare put protections
against GS
cheats in PD since they didn't like how Goldeneye was so heavily hacked.

Similar work arounds will probably be needed for cheats in Mupen.
