Glitches / No Vid in many games #351

Describe your system:
 - Operating System (be specific): Win7 x64 Ultimate
 - Machine type (32-bit or 64-bit): 64
 - Mupen64Plus version: 1.99.3
 - Plugins used: standard

For visual artifacts, give:
 Core: Goodname: Banjo-Kazooie (E) (M3) [!]
 Core: Name: Banjo-Kazooie
 Core: MD5: 06A43BACF5C0687F596DF9B018CA6D7F
 Core: CRC: 733fccb1 444892f9
 - Missing Polygons in Banjo Kazooie, black screen but sound in Zelda - OoT

Describe the problem:
Got Problems on my HTPC using the OS above.
Almost every game has some problems, I picked up these two cause they're
common. Missing Polygons at Banjo Kazooie right at the Intro (Black
N-Symbol, only parts of the fly, seeing the bull running in the background)
and no video in OoT, but clear sound and it recognises my button pressing.
At my other PC with same OS everything works fine, so I think it's a
problem with the hardware.

Using Athlon X2 5050e CPU
AMD 780G Chipset with HD3200 Onboard GPU
2GB DDR2-RAM single channel
1TB Samsung SATA2 Drive

Tried newest Catalyst drivers from 09.12 up to 10.03 beta, even changed the
plugin to an older rice (working with PJ64 and 1964) and had these issues.
Hope could help you out...

Hello,

Try to change OpenGLRenderSetting in your mupen64plus.cfg in:

C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Mupen64Plus

It's very strange if you have a ATI that it detect Nvidia (That's I understand
in the
warning... Onboard cards -_- )

Anyway, for the option OpenGLRenderSetting (to 1 by exemple) and feedback ;)

Good luck!

Found the config-file but no option for changing the render settings. Is it a
command
in the Mupenconsole I can't find in the settings?

Attached my cfg anyway...

Please try again with 1.99.4 and run a game with the '--saveoptions' parameter.
It should write out all of the video options, and you'll be able to modify the
ScreenUpdateSetting. This should solve most of your flickering issues.

I am getting the same error message while running Megaman 64. I am running
1.99.4 on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit. I have an ATI Radeon card, which IS
correctly identified. I have not been able to locate "mupen64plus.cfg", and
when I try '--configdir' command input while opening UI console, the console
window will not stay open long enough to read it, even when loading a rom. I
have also tried '--saveoptions' but it did not seem to produce an effect. The
following is the error code that I am getting:

Video Warning: Couldn't get address of OpenGL function: 'glCombinerParameterfvNV
'
Video Warning: Couldn't get address of OpenGL function: 'glFinalCombinerInputNV'

Video Warning: Couldn't get address of OpenGL function: 'glCombinerOutputNV'
Video Warning: Couldn't get address of OpenGL function: 'glCombinerInputNV'
Video Warning: Couldn't get address of OpenGL function: 'glCombinerParameteriNV'
