Survival + bed #21

In survival, when you try to break a placed bed, the game crashes. I know that this mod is not intended for survival, but I don’t want to constantly delete it/load it into mods.

how is this related to vmod

SuperSpaceEye commented 3 months ago

also nothing is crashing for me, so unless you provide a crash report and it's actually a vmod fault, i will not do anything about it

I checked my entire list of mods and found that this particular mod is causing the crash. So I decided to just report this issue. However, I am not forcing you to do anything in this situation, since perhaps the problem may be in my launcher or something else. The crash file is provided below. Version game 1.20.1* The mod was downloaded from Modrinth**

It doesn't look like my problem but a VS one. Does it happen when VMod is installed and is solved when it isn't?

Arliinks commented 3 months ago

I also doubted it at first. So I started going through all the mods, including VS. I completely removed all modifications associated with VS, and began to try to repeat the problem. And everything went well, there were no failures. Then I started adding one mod at a time that I had installed, and each time I launched and checked the game. As a result, I returned all the modifications to their place and they worked without failures, and the only thing left was your Vmod, after installing which I had a problem again. And I realized that the problem was there. Now when you asked me to send an error report, I downloaded the mod again, installed it and went to cause the error again, and yes, it happened, the game crashed again.

I understand that the mod is not intended for survival, and it's unlikely that this is such a big problem, I just thought your mod was really outstanding and I didn't want to constantly remove or add it when I play survival.

Therefore, if this is, let’s say, the only case, then apparently I was just unlucky, but in any case, thank you for your answer.

I can't replicate it in 1.20.1 forge, and VMod doesn't really change anything related to beds or even minecraft blocks, so i have no idea why this happens. The report only mentions VS and has nothing about VMod so idk what to do.

Well, okay then, as I already said, perhaps this is an isolated case, the assembly is crooked or internal mod conflicts, so you won’t guess. But in any case, thank you for your answer and attempts to figure it out, good luck in development!
