i change key in my windows 7, but still can see my old one. Product ID and actual key is obtained from registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion. Old key i can't locate at the registry anyway, is your program save it after first startup or it can be locate one where from system? Attach screenshot also - picture
