Can't get rating to tranfer #4

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
I can't seem to get the rating to transfer over from Iphoto? I have tried with
exporting the metada and without and neither seem to work.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Phoshare 1.0; Mac OS X 10.6.3

Please provide any additional information below.

How are you checking for the ratings in the expored photos? Can you open the
file with Preview, the bring up the inspector (Tools -> Inspector Window),
switch to the "i" tab, and then look at the IPTC data. There should be an entry
"StarRating", which will show the number of stars.

I'm also having problems getting the star rating to export. I rate photos in
iPhoto, run Phoshare in link mode to make a tree, then import to Lightroom.
Works like a charm, except I can't see the star rating in Lightroom. I checked
for the StarRating in Preview like you suggested, but didn't see it in the
General or Exif tabs.

phoshare 1.4.7, iphoto 8.1.2, OS X 10.5.8

It's in the IPTC tab in Preview.

Strange... Mine doesn't show an IPTC tab. Preview will show an IPTC tab for
photos I've exported from Lightroom, but not ones I exported (using Phoshare)
from iPhoto to a folder (using the link feature). Screenshots: 1) photo rated
in iPhoto, exported via Phoshare; 2) Phoshare settings I used to export. Thanks
so much for your hard work!
