Brazos does not work well after sleep/hibernation/screen turn off #14

My issue is similar to #11, but a bit different. Here it is:

1) Initial settings:
- Brazos runs on Acer tablet W500, cpu C-50, windows 7/8
- Initial voltage is 1.1 for P0 and and 0.975 for P1/2.
- With Brazos setting on first boot, P0 can be as low as 0.9 and P0/P1 are
0.825 running all Wprime/ Intel burn test without any issue

2) Tablet is set to sleep, hibernation or video shutdown during usage :
- usually after 1 day, problem starts to be like this: there are very
thin,black/gray horizontal lines of flickering-like happen randomly on screen
nonstop or maybe once per few mins.
- Simply restart will fix it, but will happen again after
sleep/hibernation/screen turn off
- Re-adjust voltage of : PO= 0.9875 and P1/2 = 0.975 will fix it but then 0.975
is no undervoltage for P1/2 at all.

3)So problem could be too low, incorrect voltage at P1/2 ? but it works fine on
first start or after reboot or could be something with sleep/hibernation
against Brazo service ?

Note: about the flickering lines , you need to have sharp eyes to see it and on
white background/website. And the longer you let the system run ( no restart )
it will happen more often.

I also second to the idea of the guy in issue #11 stated.. that brazostweaker
should run based on power profile because undervoltage should be used on power
saver . why do we care about undervolt or cooling when plugging and using
balance or high performance profile.

Hi,

To your flickering screen issue:
I have read about this problem many times in forums already. It seems rather a
driver issue than related to undervolting, since people without undervolting
complain about it. As far as I can tell, I've never experienced it so far
(running it for more than half a year now). Check out this forum for details
http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-S-series-Netbooks/bd-p/IdeaPad_Netbook.

If it really is connected to undervolting on your tablet, you might just have
an APU, which can't be undervolted, because its already on the edge. The
distribution of dies is just huge, which is why some people can undervolt a lot
and some just barely.

To your second comment:
I don't think, there is a reason, not to undervolt always. Either it's stable
or not. If it's stable, you can make use of it all the time.

Regards,
Sven

@andyt.. the problem is not from brazos tweaker.. i also have same problem..
sometime after long period use,, my display got horizontal line flickering and
annoying me. it gone after i restart the laptop.
I got this problem LONG BEFORE I INSTALL BRAZOS TWEAKER. i dunno why.. i also
change new lcd screen on my laptop but the same problem still persist :( i
think we get either "defect chip" or "driver related issue"... if u want to
talk -> email me.. this is not the place to discuss it.
