Some packages have warnings saying that the computer should be restarted (KERNLEDR and SVARCOM) and pkg displays them. On a fast machines it is hardly noticeable, but on a 8086 the user has plenty of time to read everything. Such warnings may confuse the user who might wildly restart the computer in the middle of the installation...
