It would help to get up and running if the GPIOs used where documented in the README.md file.
Note: in your announcement you mentioned that the uart tx/rx where on GPIO 0/1, but in the source they are on GPIO 12/13. Not sure if you wrote the wrong pins on the announcement or changed them and forgot to commit the changes.
