outdated CONTRIBUTING.md file #186

Hello, I was reading the CONTRIBUTING.md file and it's a bit outdated. There's no dev container definition. Also, I could not log into the Slack channel; does it still exist? Is there any way I can help to improve the guide?

P.S. I'm working on adding MQTTv5 support and I'm not sure how to set the project up to ensure there are no syntax issues before I create the PR. thanks

Hi! I think the slack-link is correct, but you need to sign up here first https://communityinviter.com/apps/locustio/locust, I'll add that instruction.

You can run tox before you create the PR, that should catch most things.
