typeahead is a hot mess #66

This hasn't been working for a while. We need three different typeahead paradigms: observer (single entry, validated), observers (multiple separated by commas), and species (italicized, single entry, validated). I think only species is working right now.

The typeahead for the query litterfall page usually works flawlessly now. But sometimes, it doesn't...

When you enter a bogus name it sometimes adds a real name (the one already added) to the query well. for example: Type in Adam Hardy, and then anything else that isnt a real name... it sometimes adds Adam Hardy again instead of just not allowing anything being able to be added to the query well.
