well, this is embarassing. can't reproduce the error. I was seeing a lot of XXXXXXXXX dates in the csv file opened in excel. I will have to check and make sure that isn't from using the pc instead of the mac, because it is working properly right now on a mac with chrome, safari, and firefox on a few different sites.
