Based on the discussion with @ytittes on 27 June:

Clarify questions on fields with the lab
Filter the extracted json so that it only contains the fields of interest
Flatten the nested dictionary
Update the conversions table
Based on the table try to run the script to add units
We should decide on whether we want to use SI units
