I’m writing this email on behalf of the Pakistan institute of living and
learning (PILL) – a nonprofit research-based organization. PILL is
conducting a large national household survey to investigate the
psychosocial determinants of self-harm and suicide in Pakistan. This
project is being conducted in collaboration with the University of
Manchester – UK. This survey is hugely important in the context of
Pakistan where official data on self-harm and suicide is very limited
because of its social, religious, and legal implications.
As part of this project, we want to use 'Verbal Autopsy'. For this
purpose, we want to translate 'Verbal Autopsy' in our national language
(Urdu). Therefore, we are hereby requesting you to allow us to translate
and use this questionnaire for our national household survey.
