What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run VNC-Viewer (on Android phone) and connect to a server with 1920x1080
resolution.
2. Connect phone (e.g., Galaxy Note) to an external HDMI 1920x1080 monitor.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that the window size of VNC-Viewer will change, or give the option of
changing to the resolution of the external monitor so that the entire screen
can be seen.
Instead the window displays on the external monitor at the phone's screen's
resolution (in this case, 1200x800).
What version of android-vnc-viewer are you using?
Which VNC server/version are you using? On which platform?
I have androidVNC 0.5.0.
The server is running a chrooted Ubuntu on the same phone.
I'm running on the Galaxy Note with Android 4.0.4
What is the size of the desktop you are trying to access (i.e. 1024x768,
1920x1080...)?
1920x1080
What device are you using? Galaxy Note
Are you using a custom ROM? If so, which?
Please provide any additional information below.
I know that the phone can display two separate screens; one on the phone at
1200x800 and another at 1920x1080 on the external monitor. These screens do not
have to display the same contents. But the application controls this, I believe.
