great work I love it! I have a question, I'm trying to package a terminal like application as an appimage (for personal use, it's not available on debian Stretch), it's working except there's one problem, bash doesn't see the outside of the appimage filesystem (any folder or path not included in the appimage doesn't get auto-completed), but it's not the case for your appimage so I wanted to know how you did it. I extracted the appimage but the AppRun is a binary, I though there would maybe be something inside that does the magic.
I would really appreciate it if you could help me?
