Problem with Azerty keyboard layout (fr) on mac #680

Hi,

my keyboard layout is set to French (fr) in my mac (Big Sur, all updates, x86_64) but the first row is still mapped to qwerty, weirdly the second row seems to be correct (qsdfg...)

Nice work, very impressive btw. Would it be possible to set it up to 80 column (even if the original terminal only supported 40 column, like the apple II) ?

Best, Djamé ps: cool-retro-term version I've tried: the latest binary built for mac.

Got the same issue here. Downloaded from homebrew. On the latest M1 Max MBP, with Monterey beta 12.1. In fact, both A and Z are not correctly mapped because the W on the third row is still mapped to Z. Do you got the issue on the W touch @dseddah?

yep.

Same issue here on a German (QWERTZ) keyboard layout. Y and Z are swapped.

1.2.0 has fixed the issue for me. My french keyboard now works fine (macOS 12.2.1). Thanks!
