[ISSUE] cool-retro-term 1.2.0 tar.gz - make: *** [Makefile:48: sub-qmltermwidget-make_first-ordered] Error 2 #707

I used the cool-retro-term 1.2.0 tar gz.

The dependencies I downloaded were (on gentoo)

    dev-qt/qtdeclarative:5[localstorage]
    dev-qt/qtgraphicaleffects:5
    dev-qt/qtquickcontrols2:5[widgets]
    dev-qt/qtsql:5
    dev-qt/qtwidgets:5

but I keep getting this error

make: *** [Makefile:48: sub-qmltermwidget-make_first-ordered] Error 2

I looked through issue #218 but since it uses git clone, the solution does not work at least in this case.

The command I was executing was make install
