Cool-Retro-Terminal gets graphically distorted when using display scaling #750

Using Kubuntu (Ubuntu 22.04 LTS) and I notice that when I increase display scaling for my display to anything greater than 100%, Cool-Retro-Term gets graphically disorted, as if it's squished or tearing. Is there any fix for this?

could you post a photo of that?

Sure. Forgot to mention my KDE information:

Under Display Configuration, my global scale for all my displays (I have three) is set to 125%.

Here is how the Apple II profile looks with this setting:

For some reason, certain profiles are okay, like Futuristic and IBM 3278.

I think I had to drop a few fonts due to licensing:

https://sources.debian.org/src/cool-retro-term/1.2.0%2Bds-7/debian/README.source/

and randomly replaced them with what I saw fits:

https://sources.debian.org/src/cool-retro-term/1.2.0%2Bds-7/debian/control/

if you click a font directory, you'll see a symlink at:

https://sources.debian.org/src/cool-retro-term/1.2.0%2Bds-7/app/qml/fonts/

could be related to replacement font, font support and/or font rendering.

i can't tell, but feel free to create your own profiles with different fonts.
