Did you solve this? If you say it's a work related Office, it might be that your workplace has its own scripts and it could rather be a network/firewall issue? Just guessing though. Haven't encountered such an issue myself
No actually, tried several I've found here
Well, the office license is bought with a sort of budget I get from work, but it's for my personal PC at home (and the stuff bought with the budget is also for personal use for personel). But it's not like it's a licence, nor a machine, via my job.
I've actually given up after trying my best to get a hold of microsoft support, but man oh man is that a big bag of terrible. I've just gotten my money back and just start using libre Office, works like a charm.
Hey @reinderdorman - I noticed the same issue about ~ 2-3 days ago. I had run Window10Debloater sometime in March, but I hadn't realized that it "might" have messed with/corrupted my Microsoft Office installation... Now, whenever I try to run my Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Pro installer, the orange installer window shows up for a couple of seconds before vanishing entirely and doing nothing. I've been trying to debug the issue (have tried more things than I can even remember/count), but I haven't had any luck. I really, really don't want to have to do another clean install, but I'm nearing my wit's end trying to figure this out.
Hi guys, I used the debloater on a new machine, worked perfectly. Now, a month or so later, I wanted to install Microsoft Office, I got via my work. But, whenever I execute the office installer it give me an error. According to random people on the internet, this error is related to not being able to connect properly to some microsoft servers. Makes sense, since it also says things allong the lines of "can't verify signatures".
When I read about that this is a connectivity thing, I remember this debloater, and I thought that maybe this also changed some connection settings (perhaps related to automatic updates or such?)? Does anyone have the same experience, or does anyone have an idea if this might be the case?
