Deleted multiple unexpected apps, e.g. Spotify, iTunes, Windows Terminal #435

This completely f**ked up my computer.

Running .\Windows10SysPrepDebloater.ps1 -Sysprep -Debloat -Privacy deleted multiple unexpected apps, e.g. Spotify, iTunes, and Windows Terminal. And those are just the ones I noticed immediately.

Running the Revert function fixed nothing. I'm going to be spending hours fixing this.

DO NOT USE THIS DEBLOATER APP.

Unfortunately, you didn't reinvented the wheel. The only thing this script does is destroy Windows... May be you may take a look at the true debloater: https://github.com/farag2/Sophia-Script-for-Windows

You can check which UWP package to uninstall, and which not. All is transparent.

Ermm noo. I've used this scripts 100s of times and never had an issue with it. - any sensible person should have created a backup before running the script. Don't blame the guy who made it.

Lol.

“the only thing this script does is destroy windows” No. Can you shut up about your Sophia shit? It clearly says “make a backup before using, I don’t take responsibility for what happens” in the README. The GUI version is there as well, and you can pick what you’d like to remove. It functions fine, and completely as intended. If you’re so tech-savvy and proud of your script, you should know that. Respect others work instead of promoting your own.

tort-oise commented 3 years ago

You’ve promoted your software to every single person in this Issue page. This page is supposed to be for tracking bugs and helping the devs figure out things, not for them to switch software completely. This isn’t a dedicated promotion page.

lol. OK, keep on going deleting system files. if even you and so called "developer" doesn't care about users, who use it, this doesn't mean that so do I.
