I did the custom list thing to remove the bloating (Selected Minecraft, Spotify, and Gaming Services to not be removed) and restarted. All of the bloat was back from my previous attempts to remove it was back. Now when I went to start Minecraft with the launcher, it wouldn't start because the gaming service would just close itself when started. I luckily did a restore point and got back to before I used this.

edit : I have figured out that its not just the Minecraft Launcher thats the issue, Its the entire Microsoft Logging In process. I can't log in on my microsoft account, it will say I am logged in but signing in on the Minecraft Launcher, it will say its missing a file needed to sign in or something.

Currently having the same problem. I looked through everything in the list and unchecked some programs. Spotify and such were not removed, but Windows Store and Minecraft were even though I unchecked them. The custom checklist not only does not work, but has undefined behaviour and now i don't even know what works or not.

Hm..... I have a clue, now, why it might not work. Package names changed, probably. I'm betting Microsoft Store and Minecraft had some kind of AppX update that renamed their package. I have no clue how to fix it, though. I don't know the new package names.

I bet the new launcher starts some process that the script doesn't recognise. The new launcher is flimsy, I haven't even installed it yet, despite being a huge Minecraft fan.
