Adding to django-haystack

I am planning to add postgres search to haystack so its available for users using Haystack

It's a good idea. I don't see the postgres search backend in django-haystack though. What's the status on that?

Sounds good. There's another great project that has similar functionality that you may want to look into as well:

Thanks. I would recommend using that project because it was created with intent for library use. This was created for the talk I made at Django NYC.

But I do intend to add haystack for academic purposes :)
