I create the issue as a result of the team meeting.
Several propositions have been made by the team, I'll try to retranscript them all:
a game with lives: this proposition seems dangerous to me since the player could end the game before reching the last level. But we could give the player enough lives to reach the end with little chances of loosing
a game with a score: the idea is to give points on breaking bricks and retrieve points on losing the ball. Since the existence of points isn't a sufficient motivation in itself, we can set a medals system with score thresholds that allow you to get the Gold, Silver of Bronze medal
a game with message reward: to simply display messages when losing the ball (ex: "Attention ! Concentre-toi !" with a little angry red smiley or whatever else) or finishing a level (ex: "Super ! Continue comme ça !" with a gentle yellowish smiley)
a game with a score + the promise of greater money reward base on the score (seems unethical to me)
I personally like the score+medals and the simple message reward.
Please tell me what you think!
