Not possible: for example, Spotify has the possibility of making remote calls for playing a playlist, changing tracks and showing broadcasted messages from the app, but no intent broadcast for managing the main app menus.

On the other hand, GMaps has intents for starting the activity and perfoming an action (drive home) : https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/urls/android-intents
