Can you try this -
Make sure neither drone nor ostinato is running using ps. From two separate
terminal windows, run "sudo drone" and "ostinato" - tell me whether you are
able to see interfaces - yes or no. Also send me the separate logs of both
terminal windows

@dtrich0:
some more questions -
1. In the case when you see no interfaces, just "Port Group
0:[127.0.0.1:7878](0)", is the icon to the left ot it, red or green?
2. the log you have included in the problem description, is it for the run when
you got a message that server instance is already running?

@dtrich0:
When you run "sudo ostinato" and see no interfaces and the port group icon is
red - just right click the port group and select "Reconnect" - you should now
see the icon as green and all the interfaces as well.
This happens because sometimes ostinato tries to connect to drone before drone
has fully started and the connection fails - so just reconnecting would solve
the problem.
Let me know if this works for you.
