Please add the reset to default configuration working. I have wasted over 2
hours trying to restore it to defaults. Still, no luck (I am new to the Linux
environment)

@topgun: If you're still having a problem, delete the ~/.config/Ostinato.conf
file before starting ostinato

so what do you use on the mac...
all of the windows in the UI are missing... the application starts up...
but none of the windows that make up that UI are visible.
did a search for anything called ostinato.conf and didn't find anything.
2 hours in and I still can't reset it.

@cory: On OSX, look for Ostinato.plist in ~/Library/Preferences or
/Library/Preferences

I deleted the Ostinato.plist in /Library/Preferences but it doesn´t solve the
issue

Delete Ostinato.Ostinato.plist file as well, if one is present. Also look for
these files in $HOME/Library/Preferences and delete them.
What OSX version are you using?

I´m using OSX 10.9. I deleted com.yourcompany.Ostinato.plist and
com.ostinato.Ostinato.plist for the root user and also for my user. I have this
problem with the root user, with my user I see all windows but I need root user
to generate traffic.
Thanks for your help!
