What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try to generate self signed file for
http://easyedit.googlecode.com/files/easyedit_2.01-3rd.sis
2. FAILURE: Submitted .sis file uses a UID that is not allocated to the
account holder matching this email address (0x20003aff )

Need to generate a new SIS. Obviously I didn't have this issue when testing
because my
email address was linked to the account I used.

For now, please just easyedit.py as a script.

Eh, use it as a script? Do you think the application will work to sign soon? :)

Yes, you can drop easyedit.py (and dir_iter.py if it's not installed) into your
\PYTHON
folder, run the Python shell and EasyEdit will appear under the "Run script"
menu.

I do not have the time to look into creating a signed version. If anybody has
experience
in this, please get in touch. The installer is definitely worth fixing:
EasyEdit fills a
decent-sized gap in the text editor market for S60 and, frankly, I still like
using it!
