Accelerator coolants #26

”We can make copper cooled with other coolants too, but superconductors generally use cryogenic coolants yes. Historically liquid nitrogen and liquid argon have also been used, as well as liquid helium. The best options have to be superfluid helium 4 and superfluid helium 3 (which is so hard to make in large quantities I feel like crying just at the thought of it). To make this more realistic it would be necessary to make colder coolants improve the performance of every superconductor, this would require writing a mod of course.” - Zalgo
