SBOL 3 file interoperability #382

Closed tcmitchell closed 4 years ago

SBOL 3 allows libraries to write files in a variety of RDF serialization formats (RDF/XML, Turtle, N-Triples, etc.) Are there "best practices" for which file formats are RECOMMENDED for interoperability between libraries?

It might be useful to have 1 - 3 formats that are recommended while allowing libraries to implement as many as they'd like. This would enhance interoperability by making it more likely that SBOL 3 files produced by one system can be read by another system without the use of a third-party RDF translator.
