Can’t add repo in DSM 4.2

Hi,

Since the change of website/host, I have not been able to access to the packages in DSM 4.2. I have a DS109j and it is the last version it can handle. It’s pretty old but still maintained by Sinology, the latest update has been released yesterday.

It is not clear whether limitations have been introduced with the new repo to only support >4.2 DSM version, but it would be nice to keep supporting DSM 4.2 or at least to precise that the repo has this kind of limitations.

Thanks for the info. I don't know exactly what changed between DSM 4.2 and DSM 4.3, no big changes I imagine so it might be possible to add support for DSM 4.2.

Hello, Any solution to this problem, I also would like to have access to the repo (I get the error "Emplacement incorrect") especially for nzbget as it is the only way to get the latest versions (it is not maintained on ipkg anymore). Or at least, a link to the spk for powerpc would be great (as it was on the old website). Thanks a lot

Dunno if this is the same issue, but I have a DS212j running 5.0.4493 and have access to the synocommunity. However on my DS108j running DS4.0.2265, I cannot add the synocommunity repo. All attempts give me "Invalid Location". I have cut and pasted the entries from the working DS to the DS108j to make sure my typing is not the cause. I have been able to add "other" repos to the DS108j without any problem. Is this a known issue? Any suggestions ?

Also here, cannot access packages-synocommunity.com from browser either. In the browser it says:

Bad Request

The browser (or proxy) sent a request that this server could not understand.

In the DSM5 on my DS415+ it says "Invalid location".

Same problem here with my synology NAS , DSM 4.2 , last version available for the device . I can add some other extern repositories but always have "invalid location" for some others , the more important for me is synocommunity . Hi. Same error with the new URL. "Incorrect location" when adding the URL in DSM 4.2 "Bad Request" when accessing the URL in Safari.

Ds-109j in the conf file but my "real" model is ds-107 . Same cpu but I changed the model in order to upgrade from dsm 3 to dsm 4.2 (not available for 107 but still work fine) .

Hello and thank you for the work . This morning I can see many new packages and the ones I needed but I can't see python . My syno is not a ds-109 model but ds-109j so cpu is different it s a mpc8241 PPC

Update : I have delete some others repo ( I had add them earlier to see if they could give the missing packages ) then refresh the package manager and Python is showing now ! So the problem is solve at 200 % to me , it's very nice because all the stuff I did was to use the sickbeard package and now i can , many thanks again @Diaoul , have a nice day .
