DS418j can't find Shairport Sync in Package Center #3040

Hi, i migrated to new DS418j from DS216j Unfortunately i can not find Shairport Sync in Package Center. Beta is enabled in settings. Could anyone help, please?

DS418j CPU Realtek RTD1293 SoC DSM 6.1.4-15217 Update1

This package requires update and support for DSM 6 and new rtd1296 architecture. Sorry, but do not expect to get it soon.

I have just compiled this package using spksrc for rtd1296 and the service works from the command line. But I don't know how to upgrade the DSM control, so that the service can be launched through DSM (rather than from the command line). Also, I am not sure how to approach the version upgrade. The current package is more than one full version behind the Shairport-Sync repo. Any walkthrough about this? -- e.g. How downloads and dependency-management are done

This issues is still relevant or did you find an alternative way to use the Synology as an Airplay receiver?
