Hi all,

I would like to create a backup of the Zabbix Synology Package running on my NAS from https://github.com/DONCIEUX-CAMILLE/zabbix-spk

could not find any information of how to backup a package or that specific package

kind regards

Tuxinator

A package backup is useless but if you want, download the package from the GitHub and save it somewhere. If the installation of the package gets corrupte just remove it and install it fresh.

Backup are for data and configuration items not for packages. So what to backup depends on what the package is doing

By the why this is not a SynoCommunity package so you should ask this on its source GitHub.

Thanks for your reply,

Actually what i want to do is to backup the data of the package, not the package itself. You are right, i should ask the author, however i could not find a possibility to contact him yet.

kind regards Tuxinator

They are using mariabd as storage, so finding a tool that can backup the MariaDB could be what you need. Here is a link to there site. https://www.zabbix.com/whats_new_4_4

@thetuxinator, just circling back on older requests, is this still an issue or should this ticket be closed?
