LPF Filters Harsh noise (12db and 24db)

Please describe the problem:

The 12db and 24db lowpass filters produce a very harsh noise (artefacts maybe?) when reaching certain cut-off and resonance ranges

What is the expected behavior?

Should sound the same as offficial

Is there a relevant Pull request?

What hardware did you reproduce it with?

OLED

What firmware did you reproduce it with?

Nightly

If possible provide the steps to reproduce the issue and upload additional media:

Turn on deluge
Init the synth clip
Place a drone note on C3
Press play
Go to song view
Enable affect entire
Select lpf filter on the gold knobs
With 24db LPF filter the values cuttoff (40 - 49) and resonance (35 - 50) produce the noise
With 12db LPF filter the values cuttoff (40 - 49) and resonance (40 - 50) produce the noise

Checked on official and you can get the same sound there. I think this is a gain staging issue from where the master compressor (and master volume) now are in the signal chain

Still happens with our latest compressor tweaks. It sounds like we're clipping somewhere, as the RMS meter peaks in this configuration.

I'm going to tag this as an issue for a future release since it also reproduces on official.

Yeah, I also mentioned this issue in the Discord channel, even provided the exact Resonance and Cutoff values for an Init patch where you get the audio harshness. Hope this can be fixed in a future release
