HI, it seems no downlink packet was successfully decoded. Could you run LTESniffer for a longer time and add -d
to your command too print out the debug message?
sudo LTESniffer -A 1 -W 6 -f 1832500000 -I 332 -p 15 -m 0 -d
Also, please check again number of PRB (15 in your command) of the listening cell, or using -C option to find all available cells.
sudo LTESniffer -A 1 -W 6 -f 1832500000 -C -m 0 -d
Thanks.
Hello Hdtuanss,
Thank you sooooo much for your response,
anyway everytime i tried the -C command in my HackRF sudo LTESniffer -A 1 -W 6 -f 1832500000 -C -m 0
it's alway like this, it wont stop if i dont type the ctrl+c : /usr/src/LTESniffer/build/srsRAN-src/lib/src/phy/rf/rf_utils.c:207: Could not find any cell in this frequency Cell not found after 299 trials. Trying again (Press Ctrl+C to exit) Searching for cell... /usr/src/LTESniffer/build/srsRAN-src/lib/src/phy/rf/rf_utils.c:207: Could not find any cell in this frequency Cell not found after 300 trials. Trying again (Press Ctrl+C to exit) Searching for cell... /usr/src/LTESniffer/build/srsRAN-src/lib/src/phy/rf/rf_utils.c:207: Could not find any cell in this frequency Cell not found after 301 trials. Trying again (Press Ctrl+C to exit) Searching for cell...of course the frequency and port is exist right otherwise i wont get any RNTI like tha table that i already show it to you. Let me do the -d and will get back to you
Hello the result of -d , i noticed some how intermittent saved not saved pcap sudo LTESniffer -A 1 -W 6 -f 1832500000 -I 332 -p 15 -m 0 -d

Hi, the signal quality in your place is too low (SNR=6db as shown in your log), please place your blade RF outdoor or somewhere with a high SNR. Also, it seems you are using a weak CPU to run LTESniffer, leading to skipping many subframes, please use more powerful CPU.
Hello Sir,
Thank you very much for your help, you are right, some pcap saved when i moved in some other area still inside my house.
But i will find better strong signal.
Regarding CPU, would it be help if currently i use -W 6 , which is six thread, then i will just increase it ?
Kindly see the config of my VMware,
feel free to suggest the parameter, maximum 16 core, but i can try 9 core or maximum assign/allocate 12 core? memory when testing i put it 4 GB, i already increased it to be 8 GB
Hi, I recommend you to use a real (physical) machine. Using VM is never a good option to run LTESniffer. Since the USB interface between SDR and VM is not stable, and the CPU is limited. If you still wanna try, I think you should use 12 cores and 8Gb of RAM and see the result again. What is your CPU name?
Dear Hoang,
You are right Sir. although as of now i have no luxury to have dedicated machine to install linux OS, my host OS is Mac OSX ver 12, if thet possible im so happy ππ if LteSniffer have build for MacOS Darwin. anyway i already avoid the Virtualbox thatβs why im using Vmware someone of friends Vmware USB more stable compare with virtual box.
My host OS is using I9 witj 8 core = 16 logical core, sure i can assign 10 or maybe 12 (i need to try first) and from 16G Ram i will assign 8G ram.
I will try it tommorow and let you know the result ππ
thanks once again.π

Hello Need your kindly help

$ sudo LTESniffer -A 1 -W 6 -f 1832500000 -I 332 -p 15 -m 0
and can get the RNTI where fetched like below and you can see one of them were 100% success
My quesrtion after i stopped, the PCAP is always empty: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2022 Sep 22 15:56 mcs_statistic.csv -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 24 Sep 22 15:56 ltesniffer_dl_mode.pcap
Need your kindly help for resolution ?
