installer init session hangs on "Driver 'pcspkr' is already registered, aborting..." #14

I am seeing this same issue also, but I also get it with the standard x86_64 GUIX image. The difference I have seen, is that I get the message after installation and rebootn when I use the image directly from the GUIX site, whereas when I use the latest release here, that message and the hanging occur before I even get the graphical installer to load.

I tried again last night using the prior release 202201150226 and was able to install it.
