Viewer - freehand tool annotations don't generate a snip in the table view #27

To address this we can either:

  1. Programmatically connect the two endpoints and generate a snip
  2. Design a solution that indicates the source of the annotation

I will discuss this with Adrian and Siobhan and ask about their use cases before we decide on a solution.

They are in favour of solution 1.

They also suggested supplementing the tool with some help text that suggests when it should be used. I'm not so sure about that but something to consider.
