Impossible to install to Eclipse. #3

I have wasted way to much time trying to install SysML 2 on Eclipse and followed all the instructions. I've used software, like Infineon, that I downloaded pre-bundled with eclipse and had no issues. My suggestion is to go that way, some of us do not care to know anything about eclipse and all its problem.

Well, it isn't actually impossible, because others have done it. But this is prototype software currently under development, for a language that is itself under development, so it admittedly isn't as easy to use as a production product would be.

That said, if you can be more specific about what isn't work for you, we might be able to help you get an Eclipse installation running. Or you could try the Jupyter installation.

As a developer and a user, I actually have a good deal of sympathy for how you feel. However, the SysML v2 Pilot Implementation was created primarily as a vehicle for us to incrementally validate the design of the SysML v2 language with our internal team. We have made it publicly available as a service to the wider community that is interested in early access to the language as it nears completion. But we don't have the time or resources to truly productize it right now -- so it is provided largely as is, like a lot of the open source software with which you have to contend.

However, rest assured that there will be packaged software solutions for SysML v2 tooling once the language specification is completed and standardized, as there are now for SysML v1. Indeed, another goal of the pilot implementation is as a proof-of-concept and testbed for vendors planning to implement the language. Hopefully their products will serve your needs better.
